How long is the leasehold?
999 years from 2015
The building is currently tenanted, is there any reason why people could not purchase to live within the apartment?
No. They’d need to wait for the current AST to expire, which would normally be less than six months, depending on the inception date.
Is there parking available for purchase or is it included?
We can sell parking at £20,000 (£17,000 net to us).
Who are the management company?
We have our own inhouse management company on the ground floor of Hill Quays. We almost always manage and let out the apartments for investors who buy an apartment in the block. As a start, we have people on site all the time, and are far and away the most logical choice, and we also charge only 5% for lettings, which is less than any of the normal lettings agents. We also handle routine repairs, etc, and the owner seldom needs to get involved.
Do you know what their fees are or is it included in the service charge?
You have the service charges……..the ground rents of £350, then the lettings fees, assuming the buyer wants our in house company to look after the apartment, and keep it rented.
